Faith Is Our Pathway, Inc. (FIOP / FIOPNJ) website provides free anonymous access to site visitors. At no time are you required to give any information about yourself to access this website. The privacy of our visitors serves as one of the building blocks of FIOP’s goal of developing long-term relationships of integrity and trust.


The privacy policy as described herein applies only to pages within the FIOPS website and not to links to other websites.

Some features of the site require personal data, including but not limited to applying to join FIOP’s MS group, or making a donation. During any process requiring such data, you will be redirected to a secured website (known as PayPal). Personal and identifying information, including but not limited to name, address, date of birth, phone number, email, credit card data, and health information, that is provided to FIOP by you is considered confidential except when required to be disclosed to a third party by the nature of your request. FIOP has appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to ensure data security and integrity.


FIOP maintains databases of persons affected by multiple sclerosis as well as those having an interest in providing various types of support to our organization. These databases are not available for sale, rent, loan, or exchange with other nonprofit organizations or commercial enterprises.

We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service; to send e-mails to you; to answer your requests; to process your FIOP application; etc. You may choose to opt out at any time by contacting us at, which will cease all communications from us.

FIOP does not provide, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone outside the organization.

Guidelines for interaction on FIOP social media


Faith Is Our Pathway, Inc. (also known as FIOP, FIOPNJ) social media page(s), profiles, website and group are intended to be safe places for people either affected by multiple sclerosis and those who care about them to engage in respectful e-conversations that honor each person’s experiences and beliefs.


FIOP does its best to keep behavior within clearly stated guidelines. However, we do not censor or police personal ideas and experiences shared on our social media. We reserve the rights to remove questionable comments including (but not limited to) anything that:
  • Infringes on legal rights of content ownership, or otherwise indicates participation in, suggestion or encouragement of any illegal activity,
  • Promotes or sells any products or services.
  • Promotes any false or unproven claims /and/or products/services related to treatment of multiple sclerosis
  • Makes a false accusation of Faith Is Our Pathway, inc. (also known as FIOP/FIOPNJ),
  • Is posting repeated messages (spam or flooding),
  • Is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence,
  • Becomes confrontational in nature,
  • Is a personal attack (including but not limited to instigation, accusation, bullying, intimidation, harassment),
  • Violates Facebook’s or any social platform’s Terms of Service:


    If behavior falls outside of the accepted Guidelines, individuals will be permanently banned / removed from our social media at our discretion.

    Facebook / IG / Tweeter

    Our Facebook pages, like all other public online forums (IG and Twitter), shouldn't require constant moderation given responsible participation. Please handle personal issues through personal messages, or use Facebook’s (IG and Tweeter) tools to block that individual. Violations of Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities should be reported to Facebook (Twitter via Twitter report tools and IG via IG report tools) through their Flag and Report tools. If you receive unsolicited or unwelcome private Messages through Faith Is Our Pathway's FB page (IG or Twitter), please use Facebook’s (IG and Twitter) tools to report and block the user.


    As a reminder, your activity on social media is public – regardless of your privacy settings or our page settings, your activity on our Facebook Page, Twitter, IG, etc. is visible to all (and likely searchable on Google) – whether or not the user is your Facebook Friend, Twitter /IG Follower, etc.. By sharing e-information or content on social media, you are forfeiting your right to privacy. Please protect yourself. Never share your street address, social security number, birth date or other personal information that could be used to impersonate you.


    User references, posts and comments made on social media are not endorsed or recommended by FIOP. We are not responsible for any user or "off‐site" information referenced by or linked to from social media. It is up to you to carefully research all shared opinions and advice through expert consultation of your healthcare team.
